Working Together

In addition to our funding work, we also offer our expertise in a range of support services designed to expand capabilities and harness the power of a collective voice.

Leading the way

We see great value in bringing together people, organisations, communities and businesses around local issues that require bold leadership and collective action. By pooling local networks and knowledge, we’re better placed to speak out on the barriers that prevent people and neighbourhoods from thriving.

Developing skills

We want to build good relationships with the organisations we fund to help us all fully understand the challenges and opportunities in our local neighbourhoods. There may also be times when we can add extra value by strengthening the management and leadership skills of our partners, attract new funding or help improve performance through greater collaboration.

Joining forces

We’ll support efforts to unite local organisations, businesses, and government agencies around shared goals and promote a joined-up working approach – and we’ll try to attract additional funding towards these efforts when we can.

Describing the Battersea
Power Station Foundation

Please use this language to describe the Battersea Power Station Foundation at the end of press releases, or in your other communications:

  • ‘The shareholders of the Battersea Power Station development established the Battersea Power Station Foundation in order to make sure existing neighbourhoods flourish as Battersea Power Station is regenerated.  Sime Darby, S P Setia and The Employees’ Provident Fund want to ensure the BPS philosophy of placemaking and sustainable community development is extended out to the boroughs – so more people benefit, even at this early stage, from their investment into Battersea.
  • The Foundation will identify and invest in effective community-based organisations that are working to create lasting improvements in the lives of people and neighbourhoods in the boroughs of Wandsworth and Lambeth. We also work to strengthen the area’s voluntary sector as a vital new partner in meeting community needs.’

Please mention our full name – Battersea Power Station Foundation – on first use and refer to us as BPS Foundation afterwards. If you’re including the Foundation in a list of other supporters, please use our full name.
