Our work helps to energise neighbourhoods and empower local communities

What we do

We work with local organisations to support projects that improve the quality of life for people who live in Lambeth and Wandsworth. The projects we like to fund bring communities together around a common purpose to create new opportunities and provide the momentum for positive, sustainable social change.

The work we’re involved with covers a range of areas – from arts, culture and the environment, to well-being, welfare and training for work – and energises our neighbourhoods by empowering and renewing communities, improving wellbeing and increasing economic opportunities.

We will continue to look for efforts that:

  • Result in expanded opportunities for Wandsworth and Lambeth residents;
  • Engage the community in a real and meaningful way; and
  • Have potential for long-term sustainability and lasting community impact.

The Spring Fund

Organisations in Lambeth and Wandsworth, with income of £500,000 or less, can apply for grants of up to £5,000 to support smaller scale projects that can quickly make a big difference to local communities.

Our grant making priorities

The way we work and our funding decisions are guided by a set of principles that reflect the various interests and needs of local communities. We like proposals that show how projects will meet one or more of our priorities.

Overview of funding

We closely monitor our investments and are completely transparent about the grants we’ve made. We regularly analyse our funding data to get a clear picture of where money has been spent and to better understand how we can improve our effectiveness.
